Planning a Day Trip in Pisa, Italy

Pisa is a compact city, and it’s pretty overrun with tourists- though it may (obviously) be top of our list of places to visit- there more to Pisa than the leaning tower! Pisa is great as a base when visiting Tuscany, and at just over an hour (by car or rail) from Florence, it’s definitely worth visiting both cities in one trip if you have the time.
